CASE FOR SUPPORT: SOCCER COMPLEX

The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s soccer programs are looking to establish a new permanent home for games and training that would create a sport specific location for their needs.  The future location is at the LHU Foundation Fields’ Complex located across the river in Woodward Township.  The new complex would border the existing LHU Baseball Field and would include a game day field as well as additional playing fields adjacent to the game day pitch to accommodate training, camps and clinics.  All of the fields would be natural grass.  In addition to the fields, portable bleachers, portable scorer’s tables and platforms, benches, and a new scoreboard would also be added.   

Both the men’s and women’s soccer programs have a rich legacy at Lock Haven University and this addition would provide the desired complex for our student athletes to train and play for the future of soccer at LHU.
